UPDATE! Breaking Down the Carnival -- Our Collodion Dream Hits the Road
The process, overall, has drawn out a mite longer than expected. Perhaps there is even a reluctance on all of our parts to see it come to an end. Travel on with us as we visit the craft and homes of our stars. Then, meet us for the crescendo, as we celebrate the end of an era, and an unforgettable artistic adventure.
We realize we've lost our minds-we're just going to go with it.
So what the Hell HAVE we been up to? Collecting 1930s accouterments, auditioning Boa Constrictors, following Wet Plate Collodian Photographer--Scott Anton's ventures, training my horses to do tricks, painting carousel horses and rounding up about 20 or so rousties for an overnight excursion in the middle of nowhere....we just might be building a circus.

WMPG TONIGHT LIVE with Tickets & Albums to Giveaway
The CDs came in the mail yesterday and they look so amazing. I want to thank Dave Gagne for all of his hard and fast work in making the album design as well as Crooked Cove for the same in the mastering and duplication departments.
Tonight we'll be LIVE on the air at 7:00pm for LocalMotives on WMPG with some exclusive cuts from the album, live tunage with the Mr & me and some giveaways! We have a pair of tickets to the show at One Longfellow Square next Friday to give away to one lucky caller. We will also be giving away some of the first copies of the album to go out into the world so turn your dial to 90.9/104.1 FM tonight at 7:00pm.
We'll be chatting a little bit about the benefit for Help Hope Live, to which artist proceeds from ticket sales at OLS will be going. If you would like to give directly to Christian's Help Hope Live site please visit HELP HOPE LIVE FOR CHRISTIAN --- every little bit helps more than you could possibly know and thank you.
We look forward to serenading you in your living rooms, kitchens, and on the long drive home tonight. Thank you for everything you do and for listening.
The Story Behind the Album
I grew up back in the day when an album was more than just a collection of songs — an album was a concept, a holistic audio-tactile experience. It was something you opened as soon as you got home with it to pull out the little book tucked inside, reading the lyrics and perusing pictures and artwork. Then, as you listened from start to finish over a pair of headphones, you would either close your eyes to shut out the world or keep exploring the insert.
