Six finalists played their hearts out in front of a sold-out theater at the Frontier Cafe on November 1st. The show concluded with a rare double-tie for first and second place. Jenny Lou Drew’s “Mending Fences” took top-spot along with Tom Mitchell’s “Song for a Stone”. Tied for runner-up was Emilia Dahlin with “The Wee Hours” and Olivia Frances for her song “The Bee and the Rose”. The night’s winners were awarded cash prizes and custom leather guitar straps by Nancy Sferra.

Special thanks to all of the music supporters who attended this year’s finals as well as to Maine Songwriters’ Association members, judges, and all those behind the scenes for all of the hard work that goes into this annual event.
